Who can enter the WBDS Agency Design Awards?

The WBDS Agency Design Awards are open to all types of design organisations, including design agencies, design studios, creative agencies, creative studios, digital agencies, interactive design agencies, advertising agencies, design innovation agencies, and design consultancies.


What constitutes as Agency or Studio?

A team of four or more individuals working in one organisation is considered an Agency or Studio. Less than this is considered a Creative or Creative collective and you should enter into the WBDS Creative Design Awards.

What work can we enter?

Any designed brand asset or project deliverable, large or small, can be entered in the WBDS Agency Design Awards. Entry for the main categories include: Identity, Packaging, Product, Graphic, Campaign, Digital, Service, Spatial, Illustration, Typography, Photography and Writing


Is there a limit to the number of entries we can submit?

There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted.


Can we enter a single piece of work into multiple categories?

Yes, entries can be submitted into multiple categories and sub-categories.


How old can our project be when entering?

Projects must have been published or must have gone live in the market with in last three years, starting from the final deadline date of 1 December.


Do entries need to be in English?

All submissions must be in English.


Do we have to send a physical sample of assets or product?

No, physical samples of assets or products are not required, but proof of published work must be provided by presenting a professional case study. Judges and editors have the right to ask for samples if they believe the stated published work is in fact a non-published concept.


Do we have to credit all contributors?

Yes, crediting contributors is professional integrity and respectful recognition of individuals and other organisations efforts. It is essential to credit all individual and organisation contributions when entering the WBDS Awards. Failing to give correct credit is a form of plagiarism, which can have negative consequences with your award entries, professional conduct and legal standpoint.


Ownership of copyright for submitted materials

Copyright and other rights remain with the designer or agency, but by entering the awards, entrants are giving the World Brand Design Society and Awards the right to use their images for marketing and promotional purposes.


Deadline extensions

The last deadline for entries is 1 December until 23:59 GMT+0, and there will be no deadline extensions.
